This week we are joined by therapeutic harpist, Shalom Wiebe, who will treat caregivers and babies to a “soundbath”. During this restorative music session parents are invited to silently rest, relax, meditate, journal, stretch, or practice yoga or mindfulness with your little one next to you – or just snuggle with your baby – while therapeutic harpist Shalom creates a soothing blanket of sound with her harp.

Using a combination of gentle songs and improvised music, Shalom will provide a unique therapeutic musical experience designed to calm the nervous system, promote rest and open space to reflect and reconnect with oneself.

If you are able, please bring items to help you feel comfortable while lying on the floor such as a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket.

Learn more about Shalom’s practice on her website!
