Be Well: Coping During COVID

A discussion with New West Family Place’s Family Support Worker, Paula Rajmil, surrounding coping at home with young children during COVID-1

Join us Tuesday, February 2nd, at 10:30 – 11:30 AM on ZOOM. With Paula’s guidance, find ways to better cope at home with young children during this uncertain time.

Paula is new to Canada from Argentina and is a trained clinical psychologist with her Masters degree in Psychology and a postgraduate focused in family therapy. She also has training in early childhood education and worked in the school system in Argentina, and in a day centre for adults with disabilities. She is currently a clinical counsellor with VAST. She brings us a first hand understanding as a parent as well as researched perspective as a clinical psychologist.

Registration is required, please reserve your place by Sunday, January 31st at 11:30 PM. There will be a question and answer period at the end of the session, but if you would like to send questions ahead of time, please feel free to send them to Paula at paula@nwfamily.bc.ca.

The Be Well series will consist of 3 ZOOM workshops, hosted by two of our Family Support Workers – Anna and Paula. Join them for their 2 other workshops:

  • Be Well: Dealing with Anxiety – Tuesday, February 9th at 12:00-1:00 PM
  • Be Well: Self Care of Parents with Young Children – Tuesday, February 16th at 10:30-11:30 AM
