Lizzie is a family support worker who began volunteering with family place in 2016. Over the years she has studied design, philosophy, and the humanities at UW and SFU and is now learning about early childhood and family resource programming. She has spent many years volunteering with children at places such as ArtStarts in schools, summer science camps, and BC Children's Hospital. You can find her at both drop in locations surrounded by craft supplies - her favorite part is seeing the joy of learning in both parents and children.
