Fernanda is from Brazil, where she graduated with a degree in Biology and taught as a Middle School teacher for almost 10 years. After moving with her family to Canada in 2017, she attended New West Family Place with her son. When her son entered Kindergarten, she volunteered at Family Place and was soon hired as a Program Assistant. Fernanda has since had her second child, and you can find her at our Massey Gym Drop ins where she shares her passion for Family Place and New Westminster as a Family Support Worker.
