Sandra has attended a number of workshops and trainings focusing on child and youth mental health, trauma and sensory integration. She has more than a decade of experience working with marginalized and low-income families, and facilitates a number of support groups in the community geared towards empowering women and children, and promoting kindness, empathy and compassion. Sandra enjoys yoga and incorporates a lot of mindfulness, yoga, breath awareness and self-care into the work she does with children and families. A mother to three grown-up daughters, and a grandmother to two little girls, Sandra loves spending time with her family hiking and walking their family dogs. You can often find her attending local New West events and supporting local crafters.
